Rose of Sharon Transitional Living for Women, Inc., Real Estate’s Leading Lady and Amazing Life Empowerment Group. Rhonda is also an ordained minister; Rhonda uses her “voice,” her experience, and her education to enlighten others to help release them from the pain of abuse and hurt. She is the epitome of “my sister’s keeper,” making certain that her empowerment brand is dedicated to helping all women to transform, renew, recover and restore every aspect of their lives and she takes pleasure in empowering others to know their God-given birth right and to walk in their God-given freedom.

Rhonda’s mission is “Healing the human spirit by equipping women to create their own reality of wholeness through self-awareness, confidence and forgiveness”. Rhonda had the privilege of beginning her domestic violence work in 1988 with the “Sojourner Truth House” in Wisconsin. She also worked with “Brothers Against Domestic Violence” as a female body guard who escorted women to court for domestic violence cases. A woman who has survived multiple forms of abuse, including sexual abuse, she understands. She became an intricate part of the healing process for many women and uses her survivor platform to reach back and help others. She is also dedicated to helping women to find their own voice, to live authentically, and to design a life that they love.

Anita was awarded with the Congressman John Lewis Ambassador Award, the Dove awards at the 90th year Sigma and Zeta’s founder’s day and Status of a Woman Orchid Award from Top Ladies of Distinction. Additionally Anita was awarded the Cruelty Prevention Award from Trinity Awards, Community Advocate Award by Diamond Diva Magazine and nominated for the Nonprofit of the year by way of the Atlanta RICE awards.

Rhonda’s passion for event planning has been an extraordinary masterpiece and opportunity for her to foster domestic violence awareness while enlightening and entertaining her guests. She is the creator and accomplished facilitator of several successful events such as the Living Behind the Mask Masquerade Gala, which honors overcomers of domestic violence and Tea Party Socials, which brings women together to have those deep conversations with hopes of creating social change. All of these events are fundraisers designed to not only benefit ROS but also to raise consciousness, bring the community together in support of other survivors, and leave her guests with a sense of awareness and an experience that will last a lifetime.

Her events bring laughter through tears, focus on healing and restoration, and her own personal stories of survival of domestic violence; becoming an entrepreneur; running multiple businesses; motherhood, and more inspire, enlighten, uplift and encourage.

Ms. Anita is the mother of two sons and the author of "The ReBirth", "Don't Spill the Tea" and co-author "Women Win Against All Odds"
